- INTUITIVE COLOR TOUCH SCREEN: Setting up your landing gear has never been easier. Navigate through comprehensive and colorful menus with the touchscreen to configure and adjust your system to suit your needs.
- GYRO ASSIST & SPECIAL BRAKING: Setup the integrated gyro to assist with a straight braking on landing, as well as optional use the different ABS settings.
- GEAR SEQUENCER: Our powerful sequencer allows to set up the retract and door sequence with full control over all aspects. The timings for door opening and closing be adjusted individually for each of the 8 protected door outputs, adding 50 sequencer steps, your imagination is the limit!
- COMPATIBILITY GUARANTEED: Electronics evolve, and so do working voltages. And that is why the SmartBox has two battery inputs. If your door servos need a voltage different than your retract, you can use a second battery just for them.
- ALWAYS UP TO DATE: With the Electron Retracts desktop App, you can easily update your controller with the latest firmware and newest features.

What are the differences between ControlBox and SmartBox?
The ControlBox allows you to perform the most essential operations: extend and retract the landing gear, apply proportional brakes, and controlling the steering servo. It also features a “Manual mode”, which allows you to extend and retract the connected landing gears by pressing a button on the ControlBox itself.
However, if you require of a sequencer for gear doors, or you would like gyro assist for landings, the SmartBox is the best choice.
The SmartBox features a full color touchscreen, and allows to adjust all parameters through various menus. It includes a door sequencer for up to 8 servos, and gyro-assisted braking for landings, to keep the model on a straight trayectory. It also allows deeper levels of adjustment for the brakes and the steering servo.
